When people ask, “Does your program really work?”…
It’s when I like for them to hear from the members who have gone through the program and got results…
Take a listen to David’s experience… when you’re done, be sure to participate in the comments section and tell me what your plans are to achieve your funding goals!
“Occupy Wall Street” is a very interesting and hot topic. With 2012 only a few days old, I wanted to share with you an interview that I had with a participant that has been there since the beginning.
After listening to what he has to say, be sure to get involved in the conversation by posting your reaction to what he shares in the interview.
Looking forward to having some great conversations with you this year!
Occupy Wall Street is a very hot and controversial topic…
The video is my thoughts about it…
Beneath the video is the transcription if you prefer to read…
Either way, this was created with the intent to get you involved… So be sure to leave your comments below…
If you haven’t heard about Occupy Wall Street…
It is a huge movement that’s going on right now across the country and even across the world…
It is mainly about people protesting on a number of different issues with the primary focus revolving around how wall street…
How the one percent have handled financial matters that has impacted the ninety nine percent.
The Occupy Wall Street group is referencing themselves as the ninety nine percent – and they have a number of different issues that they have concerns about – that they’re expressing in their protest.
All across the United States and the world, people are camping out, picketing, doing different protests to express their concerns of what’s going on.
In this post, I wanted to address some of the core issues that stand out to me that are being expressed and what it means to you…
…what it means to the nation as a whole
To bring some insight into some of the things that are happening as a whole…
And then also some of the opportunity that it creates for you…
So one of the main premises is that there is better accountability that is brought to Wall Street… which is then brought to government and how capitalism is maintained.
This is one of the points that I actually agree on in that, how the whole global financial meltdown originally occurred came from the pursuit of greed…
It came from how a few corporations could profit in some of the decisions that they made and how it impacted a vast amount of people negatively…
Unregulated capitalism can be a very dangerous thing and so definitely having better accountability on how these major financial decisions are made is definitely something I think needs to be brought more to attention.
One of the things that is interesting in this Occupy Wall Street is a resistance to wealth – we’re the ninety nine percent - here’s our needs and wealth is bad…
…you’re the one percent… you’re evil… you’re out to profit…
And this is where I think their ship gets a little off line because – if you had to choose – if you gave any normal person the option to choose between living in a tent and living in a beautiful mansion…
Most people would say, “Oh if I could choose between here, I would choose the mansion!”
People inherently want to have wealth… people inherently want to have abundance in their life…
And one of the things where I think this message gets offset that can come across in “Occupy Wall Street” is that wealth is bad…
…wealth is evil
…wanting to pursue having wealth is bad
It’s interesting because if you took that same person and you gave him the same options…
the same choices…
the same mindset…
the same wisdom…
Because people who have built a lot of wealth have developed themselves to be able to create wealth – because, through the creation of value comes the creation of wealth – and people have mastered this skill of creating wealth…
Which they have gotten to results…
And it hasn’t come through just sitting around complaining or protesting…
It has come through taking action…
It has come through studying…
It has come through knowledge…
It has come through finding ways to create value in the market place to produce revenue…
And that’s a good thing.
All the amazing things we have in our life that corporations have brought about like…
the iPhone…
Like the car…
Like houses…
Like almost pretty much every single thing in our life has come about through corporations – has come about through profits – has come about through capitalism…
These are good things – so you want to be careful when you’re listening to these messages – be careful of that message and not to take that on…
Because of the damaging impact that that can have on everything…
Corporations are a good thing – it’s where, you know – what we were talking about before…
Where decisions about how corporations handle things…
Especially on a global level…
Where things could really impact things…
That there definitely should be a level of consciousness brought to these decisions…
And the impact that it can have on the many…
…and this is a new concept that I want to introduce to you
It is what I call “Conscious Capitalism”
Being conscious about how wealth is created…
And the impact that it will have on the many…
“Conscious Capitalism”
So another thing – this is corporations in general – people say are saying…
…oh corporations are bad
…corporations are this
Like I mentioned before – all the amazing things that we have in our world – in our society…
Have come about through corporations – in fact – just the discovery of America and the creation of all the spread of society throughout all the countries…
Came about through the funding of the corporations…
In fact the original corporation which led to the expansion – and even the discovery of the United States – so corporations, from the very beginning of our country…
And the expansion of the world…
And the wealth that’s created…
And our standard of living has come about through corporations…
So it’s not that corporations are bad – it’s not resisting corporations – it’s not resisting wealth…
It’s embracing that…
And it’s not about complaining…
And it’s not about – it’s beyond that – to really see something happen…
One thing they need to get clear on – what their message is about and I think it should be – my personal opinion is that it should be targeted towards better accountability with Wall Street…
Bringing this concept of “Conscious Capitalism” to light and defining what that really means…
How should these decisions be handled…
How should government interact with major corporations and Wall Street in these types of decisions so that…
Yes, the wealthier can continue to grow their wealth and expand…
And here’s the other amazing thing around people who have developed a lot of wealth – these are the people who have given the most back – the largest philanthropist…
Bill Gates… Warren Buffet, billions, have given billions of dollars to people all around the world…
Saving lives and that has come through their ability to create wealth in the capitalist society that we have…
So there is so much good that comes through the system that we have…
Which is why it will continue…
So it’s very clear on the message in being more impactful about what really are the issues…
And educating the people who are protesting…
Educating themselves around these issues so they can get very real…
The answer that I see – because we’re definitely on a shift – we’re moving from the industrial age to the information age…
And we’ve already done that – we’re in that – and there’s a shift from the old…
But still many corporations carry this mindset around what it means…
They like to feel that they get trapped – they’re employees – like you have to work…
50, 60, 70 hours a week – and we’re only going to pay you for 40 hours – and you have to do this job even if you don’t like it…
Because if you don’t you’re going to lose your job and then you can go out and struggle in the economy…
So there’s this thing that corporations have about fear – how they control their employees with fear – to get them to do things that they don’t really want to do or really enjoy…
And there’s a shift that needs to take place…
…and it is taking place in corporations where people’s passions are empowered
You know, what’s the best role for your unique passions?
How can you bring more of an entrepreneurial spirit – more of a really human spirit – to the corporation as really the shift that is taking place…
And needs to take place to, as we continue the shift in the information age…
Another major shift that’s happening is people losing their jobs…
There’s so many people are beginning to own their own business – becoming an entrepreneur because they’ve seen that - hey they can’t get ahead with like they want to…
Or it’s such a hard fight that you’ve got to battle in corporations…
That so many people are becoming entrepreneurs…
And that is an amazing thing…
That is a good thing…
Entrepreneurship is one of the things that has made our country so great – that has made – that has inspired so many new inventions…
…and innovations
And every area of our life is through the entrepreneurial spirit – and that’s very fundamental to everything - and to the growth of our country
And to the success of everyone…
And so instead of resisting corporations – saying corporations are bad - the answer…
One of the answers is becoming your own corporation and becoming your own entrepreneur and finding out and discovering what your passions are…
How can you go out to the marketplace and do something that you absolutely love and create value for others in a way that you can generate profit for yourself…
For your family…
And move forward our economy and our society to make this place – in fact I believe that it will be entrepreneurs – that bring us…
Our country through this recession and through this very difficult financial period…
It will be the entrepreneurial spirit that brings it all back in…
It most likely will get worse as far as our economy goes – before it gets better – but again the answer…
You’re always – the most amount of freedom -many people feel…
Is when they own their own business…
They’re able to express that – and even if you are working in – or you own your own business…
Or you are a part of a bigger part of a corporation – you know – everyone that is part of, my corporation owns their, my business owns their own corporation…
We encourage them to pursue their passions – we have them take tests like the Kolby and the Myers Briggs and the Wealth Dynamics tests to help them find their own unique expression of who they really are – but towards a specific mission and a specific vision….
In fact one of the missions of my company is to empower entrepreneurs so they can pursue their passions…
We empower entrepreneurs by providing them money for their business…
And so at the end of the day – as we grow and continue to change as individuals – the things that we will attract to…
The things that will enable us to express our unique ways of being free of expressing our passions…
…and increasing our awareness
…and our consciousness around ourselves – and the world around us – and as we do that…
Not only will we create a better life for ourselves and our family – but will raise the awareness of the world – and we actually will create a better place for us to be…
So those are my thoughts about “Occupy Wall Street”. Be sure to leave a reply because I am looking forward to connecting with you.
People will ask, “Does your program work?”
I love being able to show them testimonials like Eugene Theobald’s… watch the video below and read what he sent in below that!
“I have acquired over $160,000 in unsecured business lines of credit lines! This has been a tremendous help in our business. Not only have we been able to get substantial credit lines but, more importantly, we’ve learned how the system works so that we can continue to grow and improve.”
Thank again,
Eugene
